題目：Empowering Corpus Linguistics in the Era of GAI
摘要：This talk explores the transformative potential of GAI in corpus linguistics, focusing on integrating recent multimodal capability and agentic networks enabled by large language models (LLMs). I will begin with a historical review of corpus development, highlighting key milestones and their impact on linguistic research. Building on this foundation, I will introduce our recent research agenda, which leverages LLMs' interactive and autonomous capabilities to propose a novel framework for designing and analyzing linguistic corpora. This approach enhances the efficiency of corpus construction and annotation and enables dynamic interaction between corpora and computational models, fostering deeper insights into language patterns and evolution. The talk will discuss practical applications, challenges, and opportunities in this emerging intersection of AI and linguistic research.
